@truffleAI why would a payout be stuck in "pending" for a merchant?

truffleAI

truffleAI 10:24

A payout stays pending until the merchant's Stripe Connect account is fully verified. The transfer is only released once charges_enabled is true. Otherwise, it waits for the onboarding webhook.

@truffleAI can customers cancel their subscription themselves, or do we have to do it for them?

truffleAI

truffleAI 10:31

Yes. Customers can cancel from the billing portal. The subscription is marked for cancellation at the end of the current billing period.

@truffleAI what happens when a payment fails? Do we retry it automatically?

truffleAI

Failed card payments are retried up to three times over approximately seven days. If all retries fail, the subscription is paused and the customer is notified.

Built for your software

Your AI shouldn't have to guess.

ChatGPT knows a lot about software. But it doesn't know why your product behaves the way it does.

Truffle answers from the actual source of truth: your code, APIs and documentation.

Everything your team needs

Give your team a direct line to your product.

Truffle connects your code, APIs and documentation so anyone on your team can understand how your product works.

Ask your code

Truffle understands your actual codebase, so your team can ask how things really work — not how they are supposed to work.

Understand your APIs

Connect OpenAPI and Swagger specifications alongside your code to answer questions about endpoints, parameters and capabilities.

Bring your docs

Connect documentation and other knowledge sources so answers have the context your code alone cannot provide.

Answers in Slack

No new tool to learn. Mention Truffle in the conversation where the question comes up and get an answer in seconds.

Source-backed answers

See where an answer came from. Truffle connects its answers back to the code, API definitions and documentation behind them.

Ready for MCP

Make your product knowledge available beyond Slack and bring it into the AI tools your team already uses.

Questions, answered

Everything you need to know about Truffle.

From your code and documentation to AI usage and billing, here's how Truffle works.

What does Truffle actually understand?

Truffle builds context from your source code, APIs and documentation. It understands how the different parts of your product fit together, so your team can ask questions about how the software actually works.

How is Truffle different from ChatGPT or Claude?

ChatGPT and Claude are general-purpose AI models. Truffle gives them the context of your actual product — your code, APIs and documentation — so they can answer questions about software they otherwise wouldn't know.

Is my code used to train AI models?

No. Your code and documentation are used to provide context for your team's questions. They are not used to train a general-purpose AI model.

How does Truffle access my code?

Connect the repositories you want Truffle to understand through GitHub, GitLab or Bitbucket. Truffle indexes those sources and uses them as context when answering your team's questions.

How does AI usage work?

Truffle AI usage is billed separately based on the tokens used to answer your questions. You can also bring your own AI provider and API key, in which case you pay the provider directly.

Who counts as an active user?

You only pay for people who actually use Truffle. A user becomes billable when they chat with Truffle through Slack or MCP. People who are part of your workspace but never use Truffle don't count as active users.

Where can my team use Truffle?

Truffle works directly in Slack, where anyone can mention Truffle and ask a question. Truffle also supports MCP, so your product knowledge can be accessed from AI tools and coding environments that support the Model Context Protocol.

What happens when my code changes?

Truffle keeps your connected sources up to date, so its understanding reflects the software your team is actually working with rather than an old snapshot of your code.

How long does it take to get started?

Connect your repositories, connect Truffle to Slack or your preferred MCP client, and start asking questions. There's no code to write and no infrastructure to manage.

Your codebase, answerable by anyone.
